Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Inventory Control Auditor to help ensure product accuracy within our distribution center. You will count inventory using RF equipment, review receiving and shipping documentation, and support adherence to corporate guidelines to keep operations smooth and customer-ready.

Collaborate with Inventory Control, DC Operations, and vendor receipt teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts.
• Effective communication across listening, speaking, and writing.
• Able to work at heights up to 50 feet.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities include counting inventory using RF equipment, reviewing documentation, and supporting compliance with company guidelines.
• Collaboration with team members helps address issues quickly and supports strong operational alignment.
