Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Inventory Auditor to ensure accuracy in inventory, outbound containers, and vendor receipts within our distribution center. You will count inventory using RF devices, review documentation, and support compliance with company guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with Inventory Control, DC Operations, and vendor receipt teams to maintain process integrity, accuracy, and safe operations across varying temperatures and heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts.
• Effective communication across listening, speaking, and writing.
• Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet using mezzanines or equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory for accuracy using RF equipment.
• Review inbound vendor receipts and outbound documentation.
• Support compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
