Job summary

JCQ Services is seeking an Inventory Auditor to verify stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits within our warehouse operations. You will reconcile discrepancies, document variances, and maintain reliable records across WMS systems and reporting tools.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in inventory control, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and handheld scanners. This role is on-site in Kissimmee, FL, with compliance to safety procedures and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of cycle counting, physical inventory audits, reconciliation, and inventory documentation.
• Experience using WMS, inventory software, or electronic inventory tracking systems.
• Proficiency with computers, handheld scanners, Microsoft Excel, and digital reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and effectively use AI, automation, and other inventory management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliations.
• Verify physical inventory against WMS records and supporting documentation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Document shortages, overages, damaged items, and variances.
• Verify adjustments and maintain traceable audit records.
• Assist with order discrepancies, inventory transfers, and stock verification as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory information in WMS and other systems.
• Prepare audit reports documenting accuracy, discrepancies, and actions.
• Identify recurring errors and opportunities to improve data accuracy.
• Verify AI findings against physical inventory before reporting results.
