Job summary

Alt Platform Inc. is seeking an onsite Vault Associate in our New Castle, Delaware vault with weekend shifts. You will receive, photograph, catalog, store, and ship cards, handling high-value inventory daily.

The role emphasizes accuracy, chain-of-custody, and collaboration with product/data teams to improve workflows. Reliability for Thu–Mon schedule and physical work are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a high-volume operation (warehouse, fulfillment, or card handling).
• Attention to detail as a habit; describe a system to catch mistakes.
• Reliability for Thursday–Monday onsite, including weekends.
• Physically able to stand, lift, and handle items for extended periods.
• Willingness to speak up to improve processes.
• Bonus: experience with WMS/scanners/inventory systems; comfort with Excel; security certification.

Responsibilities

• Intake and outtake: receive shipments, verify contents, photograph and digitize cards, catalog and shelve; pull, pack, and ship when sold or returned.
• Protect the inventory: maintain chain of custody and accurate counts; ensure records match physical shelf.
• Own the weekend: ensure intake/outtake moves with smaller crew on Sat/Sun.
• Make the process better: identify slow or error-prone steps and help fix them.
• Work with the product and data teams: provide feedback to improve tools used.
• Card shows: travel for shows and events to handle intake on the floor.

The Role: Onsite at our Delaware vault. Weekend shift.

Most people in this hobby will never hold the cards you'll handle every day. A Jordan rookie. They come through our doors, and you're the person who receives them, photographs them, catalogs them, stores them, and gets them back out the door.

The Vault is the physical backbone of Alt. Collectors buy and sell seven days a week, and the weekend shift is how we keep cards moving when most of the industry is closed. It's hands-on work with real stakes, and it's the best seat in the building if you actually care about cards.

The Shift:

• Thursday through Monday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, every week

• Five 8-hour days plus a 30-minute meal break (40 hours a week)

• Weekends are the core of this shift

• Off Tuesday and Wednesday

• Hourly, non-exempt, and overtime eligible

What You'll Do:

• Intake and outtake. Receive shipments, verify what's inside against what was declared, photograph and digitize each card, catalog it, and shelve it. Then pull, pack, and ship when it sells or the owner wants it back.

• Protect the inventory. Chain of custody, accurate counts, careful handling. You'll be the reason our records match what's physically on the shelf.

• Own the weekend. With a smaller crew on Saturday and Sunday, you'll keep intake and outtake moving so Monday doesn't start behind.

• Make the process better. You'll run these workflows more than anyone. When something is slow, error-prone, or dumb, you're expected to say so and help fix it. We'd rather hear it from you than find it in an audit.

• Work with the product and data teams. They build the tools you use. Your feedback is how those tools get good.

• Card shows. Some travel for shows and events, where you'll handle intake on the floor.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years in a high-volume operational environment. Warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, retail stockroom, card shop, or a grading room all count

• Attention to detail as a habit, not a claim. You can tell us about a system you followed to catch your own mistakes

• Reliability. Thursday through Monday, onsite, consistently, including every Saturday and Sunday. This team can't run a person short

• Physically able to do the work. Prolonged standing and sitting, reaching, bending, repetitive handling, and lifting

• The instinct to speak up when a process isn't working, instead of working around it quietly

• Bonus: you collect. Experience with a WMS, scanners, or inventory systems. Comfort in Excel. A state-issued guard card or similar security certification.

• Turning a messy process into a written SOP the whole shift can follow

• Drafting the handoff note at end of shift so nothing gets lost between the weekend crew and the weekday team

Scheduling & Attendance:

• This is an onsite role based at Alt's Vault location in New Castle, Delaware

• Scheduled Thursday through Monday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute meal break

• Reliable and consistent attendance is required to support operational continuity

• Schedule flexibility may be required during periods of increased volume or operational demand

Compensation: $27.88 per hour
