Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group seeks an Inventory Control Associate to support accuracy in inventory through physical counts and re-warehousing. The role demands prior inventory control experience and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm schedule and a Friday 7am–2pm shift, with starting pay at $19.00/hour and full benefits within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have inventory control experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office and presentation software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts and aisle checks.
• Track counts and analyze trends.
• Identify items to optimize forward pick locations based on activity.
• Research driver shorts and delivery invoice issues.
• Assist in returns and place items in storage locations.

Here’s what you’ll do: The Inventory Control Associate will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by counting and reporting results of physical counts and assist in re-warehousing of product. ***YOU MUST HAVE INVENTORY CONTROL EXPERIENCE***

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts, aisle checks, vintage verification, and other checks as needed.
• Track physical counts, looking for trends.
• Identify product that can be removed from forward pick locations to continuously ensure items with most activity are easiest to pick.
• Research driver shorts, hand back order, and any other invoice delivery issues.
• Assist in returns process, putting bottle and cases in storage locations.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent No prior experience required Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines Analytic and Reporting skills Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to operate warehouse equipment Possess a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Competencies
