Job summary

ABL WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTORS, INC. in Columbiana, OH is seeking a warehouse associate to manage monthly inventory, process returns, and prepare shipments. The role supports sales with damaged goods and stock adjustments, requiring organization and clear communication. Proficiency with Excel and basic math is expected; AS400/CDR familiarity is a plus.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, and involves walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional freezer work.

Qualifications

• Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and communicate clearly (verbal and written).
• Proficient in basic math and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Monthly cigarette & stamp inventory; pull outdated or recalled product for adjustment or destruction.
• Process on-site damages from all pick areas and returns from customers.
• Prepare boxes for UPS/Freight shipment back to manufacturer; restock items as needed.
• Organize and maintain the returns area for efficient processing; assist manufacturer reps on site.
• Communicate with Sales Director or Sales Staff regarding customer returns; daily emails from Sales Team.
• Distribute products to Sales Team to return to customers; perform other tasks as required.

Job description

Shift Time: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday

Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To

• Monthly cigarette & stamp inventory
• Pulling outdated or recalled product from inventory for adjustment & destruction
• Executing return to stock product able to be resold (repackaging if needed)
• Processing on site damages from all pick areas
• Processing returns from customers; to be returned to stock or sent back to manufacturer
• Preparing boxes for UPS/Freight shipment back to manufacturer
• Organizing & upkeep of the returns area to ensure efficient processing of all productsPlanning & executing monthly manufacturer returns
• Assisting manufacturer reps on site with processing product for return
• Email or phone communication with Sales Director or Sales Staff regarding customer returns
• Daily emails from Sales Team regarding damages/pick up requests
• Distribution of products to Sales Team to return to customers (Sales Meetings)
• Other tasks & responsibilities as required

Physical Requirements Include

• Daily walking throughout warehouse
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders & mobile stairs
• Operating hand pallet jack, carts & 2-wheeler to move product
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion
• At times may require work in freezer & refrigeration temperatures

The right candidate will be a High School graduate, very well organized, able to communicate verbally and written (email) to all levels of the company, capable of multi-tasking several projects/tasks at a time. The primary focus is to be as efficient as possible while striving to keep up with all inventory/return issues within the warehouse. Candidate will possess general math skills with capabilities in Microsoft excel and email. Knowledge of CDR/AS400 system a plus!
