Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department seeks an Inventory Officer (Agency 025) to modernize inventory control and asset management. This role will integrate agency procedures and utilize the PeopleSoft CORE Inventory Control and Asset Management modules.

You will plan and perform materiel management statewide, assist with procurement, maintain perpetual inventories, and ensure accurate property records for submission to state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant state or federal regulations.
• Knowledge of procurement methods for supplies and equipment.
• Understanding of warehouse principles and inventory methods.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to take accurate inventories.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform materiel management activities for the department.
• Assist in procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain perpetual inventory of tangible assets statewide.
• Reconcile and record property listings for official submissions.
• Supervise receipt of supplies and verify shipping documents.
