Job summary

Griot's Garage is seeking an Inventory Analyst II to perform cycle counts, analyze inventory data, and optimize stock accuracy across SAP/Oracle/ERP systems. You will partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing and Logistics to maintain 97–99% accuracy and drive cost savings.

Responsibilities include audits, reconciliation, system updates, and process improvements to prevent stockouts and excess inventory while ensuring safe warehouse operations in Plainfield, IN.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 4-6 years in logistics and manufacturing operations inventory control
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile discrepancies
• Technical skills: Excel (advanced), SAP/Oracle/Epicor/NetSuite inventory software

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect sales and inventory data to identify trends in loss and recovery.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor levels, turnover, and demand trends to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Inventory Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct physical audits, reconcile variances, investigate root causes.
• System Management: Maintain inventory databases using ERP/WMS software.
• Process Improvement: Propose system enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Supply chain, Sales, Manufacturing and Logistics to coordinate inventory flows.
