Job summary

Relevant Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a Manager of Inventory Analytics to own recurring analytics, month-end reporting, and routine decisions within defined thresholds. This role leads a cross-functional team across inventory planning, transactional support, and inventory systems, driving day-to-day direction with escalation for larger decisions.

The position emphasizes developing the team, coordinating with Finance and Operations, and delivering actionable insights using Power BI and ERP data

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or inventory/operations management.
• Experience administering stock plans, OSMI/slow-moving inventory processes, and inventory systems (P21 or similar ERP).
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI or comparable BI tools; SQL a plus.
• Experience leading and developing a team spanning analytical, process, and BI/technical skill sets.
• Comfort working across Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring inventory analytics and month-end reporting.
• Administer the OSMI incentive process.
• Lead routine inventory reviews and stock plan support across the network.
• Make purchase recommendations and approve defined lower-risk decisions within delegated thresholds.
• Use historical demand and forward-looking signals to inform purchase recommendations.
• Direct Power BI development, dashboard maintenance, and analytics supporting inventory planning and analytics.
• Ensure data pulls, validation, and reporting logic are accurate and timely.
• Coach and develop team members toward increasing analytical judgment and business-facing responsibility.
