Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an Inventory Analyst in the United States to oversee and optimize inventory levels, forecast needs, and collaborate across departments to support a balanced supply chain. You will analyze data, track metrics, and resolve discrepancies that affect productivity and profitability.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience with inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in an inventory analyst capacity or a comparable role.
  • Familiarity with forecasting techniques and inventory optimization methods.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock is maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and historical data.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate timely inventory replenishment.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies identified.
  • Prepare and present clear inventory reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and report on key metrics.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to overstock or stockouts.
  • Implement processes to minimize inventory holding costs.
  • Partner with suppliers to manage lead times and order quantities.
  • Review and update inventory policies and procedures regularly.
  • Support new product introductions by planning appropriate initial inventory levels.
  • Recommend and drive process improvements to optimize inventory management practices.
