Benchmark is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Rochester, MN to optimize inventory and coordinate planning across a multi-site network. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment between demand, forecast, and production schedules.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and cost-effective procurement strategies. Ideal candidates have several years in purchasing or planning, familiar with ERP systems, and a strong understanding of inventory management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience (purchasing or planning accounts/commodities) with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience in purchasing or planning within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to understand planning systems and Benchmark processes.
• Supports schedule development and procurement processes to meet department and unit goals.
• Maintains optimal inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries while minimizing costs.
• Manages ERP parameters and planning data for accurate material flow.
• Monitors inventory levels and reports on excess or obsolete stock.
• Analyzes forecast and production changes to assess procurement impact.
• Ensures alignment between demand information, forecasts, and production schedules.
• Communicates production schedules and resolves discrepancies with the Scheduler.
