Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking an Inventory/Asset Management professional onsite in the U.S. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, and active clearance is required after day one.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in inventory, asset management, operations, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience with audit/compliance and reconciling data across multiple systems; Office 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory reconciliations; resolve discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Investigate missing or unaccounted-for assets using system tools, data, and stakeholder outreach.
• Collaborate with lab managers, program teams, and external customers to locate assets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain asset records throughout the inventory lifecycle.
• Monitor asset movement to ensure compliance with internal processes and customer requirements.
• Communicate status updates and escalate issues as needed across functions.
• Identify process gaps and suggest enhancements to asset tracking and reconciliation practices.
• Apply judgment to solve moderately complex problems with limited supervision.
