Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a highly analytical Materials Planner to support production planning, material readiness, and inventory execution across our manufacturing operations.

This role requires strong ERP experience and a background in manufacturing or engineered-product environments, plus 3–7+ years in planning roles and advanced Excel skills to drive planning accuracy and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, analytics, or related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in materials planning or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineered product environments.
• Strong ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans aligned with production schedules.
• Monitor shortages and supply risks and identify gaps between supply and demand.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production Control, and Operations to resolve material constraints.
• Support material readiness for new product launches, engineering changes, and ramp activities.
• Build reports, dashboards, and data tools for visibility and KPI tracking.
