Job summary

GTI Fabrication in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a highly analytical Materials Planner to align material readiness with production schedules across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has ERP experience and a background in manufacturing or engineered products, and will collaborate with Procurement, Production Control, and Operations to optimize inventory, reduce shortages, and support new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, analytics, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in Materials Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or engineered product environments.
• Strong ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar platforms).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans aligned with production schedules and manufacturing demand.
• Ensure material availability supports fabrication, assembly, electrical integration, and final build operations.
• Monitor production schedules, BOM requirements, and inventory levels to identify shortages or supply risks.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production Control, and Operations teams to resolve material constraints.
• Support material readiness for new product launches, engineering changes, and production ramp activities.
