Job summary

Swoon in Seguin, Texas, is seeking an Inventory Analyst III for a Global Manufacturing client. This full-time onsite role focuses on materials planning to ensure timely production and integrates with suppliers and internal teams.

You will monitor material availability, analyze data with ERP and Excel, track inventory levels, and report on shortages and adherence to schedules. This 12-month contract includes health, dental, and vision benefits.

Responsibilities

• Procure and maintain materials and supplies required to support production demands.
• Work directly with suppliers and internal process partners to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Monitor material shortages, past-due items, and other supply concerns and assist with escalations.
• Review production schedules, work orders, inventory information, and material requirements.
• Monitor systems to ensure parts and materials are planning correctly.
• Examine documents, materials, and processes for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established standards.
• Analyze and report on inventory, material usage, production activity, and related supply chain data.
• Identify material priorities and assist with adjustments resulting from shortages, schedule changes, or other production interruptions.
• Maintain responsibility for individual workload, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to track, analyze, and report materials and inventory information.
• Collaborate daily with suppliers, team members, and cross-functional process partners.
• Support problem resolution related to material availability and production requirements.

Overview

This position will support materials planning and supply chain operations by helping ensure the materials required for production are procured and available when needed. The Inventory Analyst will work directly with suppliers and internal process partners to monitor material availability, address shortages and past-due items, analyze data, and support production requirements.

This is primarily a materials planning and supply chain position rather than a warehouse or production-floor logistics role.
