POSITION OVERVIEW – Supply Chain Analyst III
The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demand Forecasting, Customer process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.
- Activities have a direct impact on both sales' revenue and profitability within the assigned account. This position will also maintain strong relationships with customers as well as with Clients Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Order Management, Logistics and so on.
- Weekly Demand Forecasting and updating in systems
- Sales Trend Reporting.
- Ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the customers requested delivery date.
- Conduct Root Cause analysis.
- Managing and resolving matters related to Orders, shipping and delivery.
- Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis.
- KPI (Baseline Improvement).
- Use of supply chain system for order management and reporting.
- Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
- Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
- Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Super detail oriented (working with a lot of data and numbers).
- Highly organized, accountable and follow up.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3~10 years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations.
- Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships.
- Proficiency with Advanced Excel data functions including advanced formulas.
- Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced multi-cultural environment.
- SAP/BW/BI Experience also a plus.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Forecasting / Demand Planning with retail experience preferred.
