Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Team Lead to oversee warehouse operations in the United States. You will drive safety, efficiency, and teamwork on the floor while coordinating with the 3PL and internal teams.

The role emphasizes inventory management, SAP-based goods receipts, and cycle counts, with travel to 3PL sites as needed. Strong attention to detail and Excel skills are essential.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse and 3PL operations and material flow.

Responsibilities

  • Review the Master Production Plan and translate it into actionable inventory tasks.
  • Perform weekly reviews of clear-to-build inventory for the main warehouse (4000 stock) and plan next 2–3 weeks.
  • Analyze inventory levels across warehouse (4000) and 3PL (4600) to spot shortages or excess.
  • Initiate inventory pulls from the 3PL when warehouse shortages are identified.
  • Prepare and send weekly 3PL pull requests following the defined process.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and 3PL teams.
  • Support inbound goods receipt in SAP with correct movement types.
  • Review outbound 3PL documentation and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Own escalation and resolution of quantity or documentation discrepancies with 3PL.
  • Manage outbound shipments of excess inventory from warehouse to 3PL.
  • Support cycle count program with RCA for discrepancies and corrective actions.
  • Execute and monitor the Goods Receipt process for 3PL movements.
  • Ensure Inventory Management Compliance Checklists are completed in SAP (including 3PL activities).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ongoing communication with 3PL.
  • Support monthly audits and inventory reviews with 3PL for accuracy and compliance.
  • Travel to the 3PL for cycle counting, audits, and related activities as needed.

Job description

We're hiring a Team Lead to oversee warehouse operations and drive performance on the floor. If you thrive in a hands-on leadership role where safety, efficiency, and teamwork matter every day, we want to meet you.

What will you do?
  • Review the monthly Master Production Plan (MPP) provided by downstream planners and translate it into near-term inventory actions.
  • Perform weekly reviews of “clear-to-build” inventory for the primary warehouse location (4000 stock), with a forward-looking view of the next 2–3 weeks.
  • Analyze inventory levels and product locations across the warehouse (4000) and 3PL (4600) to identify shortages or excess.
  • Initiate inventory pulls from the 3PL when warehouse shortages are identified.
  • Prepare and send the weekly 3PL pull request communication using the defined process.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and 3PL Teams.
  • Support warehouse receiving by ensuring inbound 3PL material is correctly processed in SAP using the appropriate goods receipt and movement types.
  • Review outbound documentation from the 3PL and support the warehouse receiving team in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Own escalation and resolution of quantity or documentation discrepancies with the 3PL.
  • Manage outbound shipments of excess inventory from the warehouse to the 3PL.
  • Support the cycle count program across both the warehouse and 3PL, with a strong focus on root cause analysis (RCA) for inventory discrepancies and coordination of corrective actions.
  • Execute and monitor the GR (Goods Receipt) process related to 3PL movements.
  • Ensure Inventory Management Compliance Checklists are completed and properly documented in SAP, including activities performed by the 3PL.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing communication with the 3PL.
  • Support monthly audits and inventory reviews with the 3PL to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Travel to the 3PL for cycle counting, audits, and other activities as needed.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse and 3PL operations and material flow.
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify inventory discrepancies and root causes.
  • Ability to manage recurring processes on a defined cadence (weekly, monthly).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Comfortable working with production schedules, inventory data, and compliance documentation.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Excel & Office skills.
  • Previous Schneider Electric experience preferred

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $28.50-$42.70 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
