Job summary

At Home is seeking an Allocation Analyst to drive inventory efficiency across store clusters and departments. You will collaborate with buyers and planners to optimize assortments, review pre-receiving styles, and ensure allocations align with sales and margin plans.

You will perform in-season and post-season analyses, develop strategies to maximize turnover, and support new systems and processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel mastery, and the ability to communicate insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Knowledge of retail KPIs such as Sales, Inventory, and Gross Margin; familiarity with planning systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buyers and planners to develop an allocation strategy aligned to goals.
• Manage pre-receiving review to ensure store allocations follow the plan.
• Provide in-season analysis to adjust allocations by store and cluster.
• Analyze post-season performance to inform future buys and guardrails.
• Review basket analysis and sales by product type to set store allocations.
• Support implementation of new systems and processes.
• Build store attributes to tailor allocations by market.
