Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a seasoned Inventory Accounting leader in Illinois to manage the Corporate Inventory and Product Costing Accounting team and ensure GAAP compliance across end-to-end inventory reporting.

Responsibilities include closing, journal entries, reconciliations, and driving improvements in inventory policies, controls, and ERP enablement. Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in inventory accounting within an ERP system (SAP/Oracle/AS400).

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and product costing accounting in GAAP compliance.
• Prepare monthly close data, journal entries, and reconciliations for inventory reporting.
• Lead large-scale projects such as standard costing modernization and system enablement.
• Advise on onboarding new entities from an inventory perspective.
• Support internal and external financial reporting and process improvements.
• Represent Medline with CFO, leadership, auditors, and lenders.
