Job summary

Medline is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Inventory and Product Costing Accounting in Chicago to lead and develop the team responsible for inventory accounting, costing, and reporting. You will oversee closing journal entries, reconciliations, and end-to-end inventory reporting within US GAAP.

You will drive process improvements, system enablement, and internal controls, mentoring staff and coordinating with FP&A, auditors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory and product costing accounting in GAAP framework.
• Prepare/approve monthly close data, journal entries, and reconciliations for inventory accounting.
• Analyze financial results and recommend process improvements in inventory reporting.
