Catalyst Brands LLC is seeking an Inventory Management Analyst in Salt Lake City to own month-end close activities, investigate discrepancies, and drive process improvements in a hybrid work environment.

You will build strong cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Tax, Audit, FP&A, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, and Supply Chain, while supporting operational business partnering and financial discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional accounting, Accounts Payable, corporate finance, or related operational experience.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or updating data queries and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management accounting processes, including month-end close activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex financial discrepancies with root-cause analysis to drive improvements.
• Lead or support accounting projects, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives; partner with IT on system enhancements.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Tax, Audit, FP&A, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, and Supply Chain; provide accounting guidance.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting and operational metrics to support leadership decisions.
• Provide guidance, training, and onboarding support on core accounting tools and processes.
