Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to assist physicians in catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. You will prepare rooms, monitor patients, and help with room turnover and equipment readiness.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS or equivalent credentials, 2 years of cath lab experience, and on-call availability. You will engage in quality data collection and contribute to safety and performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field, or completion of US military training program with experience equivalent to an Associate’s, or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience.
• Must be available for On Call response per facility/department policy.
• Knowledge of complex invasive cardiac and vascular values, instrumentation and techniques.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Prepare room and equipment; monitor patient condition and provide routine and emergency care.
• Operate RF/Cryo ablation systems and 3D mapping; document procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and inventory of room supplies.
• Collect registry data and prepare procedure reports.
• Provide orientation and training support to staff and students as assigned.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in governance activities.
