Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. You will prepare rooms and equipment, monitor patients, and provide routine and emergency care during procedures.

The role requires RCIS or ARRT certification, a Radiology credential, and 1 year (or 2 years in lieu of education) Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold RCIS or ARRT radiography credential.
• Technical or Associate degree in Radiology; new grads welcome.
• 1 year Cath Lab experience or 2 years Cath Lab experience in lieu of education.
• Full-time Day Shift: 7am–5:30pm, 4 days/week with on-call every 4 weeks.
• Willing to cross-train EP tech or scrub Cardiac cases.
• On-call requirements include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures.
• Prepare room and equipment; monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Provide routine and emergency care; participate in quality control activities.
• Orient and train other team members; contribute to inventories and supplies.
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
• Assist in data collection for registry and quality initiatives.
