Job summary

Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital is hiring an Invasive Tech Specialist / Cath Lab Tech to support two new cardiac catheterization labs and rapid STEMI care. The role requires RCIS/RCES or RT(R) certification and 1 year of Cath Lab experience, with on-call responsibilities for STEMI.

You'll work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with a focus on high-quality imaging, patient safety, and teamwork with physicians and staff in a state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cardiac Catheterization lab required.
• If you have 3+ years, higher level position with increased pay may apply.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff to plan and manage the department.
• Delivers appropriate care while ensuring safety and successful completion of procedures.
• Supports the Physician as a scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and accurate documentation.

Education

CVT—RCIS or RCES: High school diploma or GED

RRT or CRT: Associate degree in respiratory therapy education

R.T.(R): Radiography program completion

Paramedic—NREMT-P: paramedic program completion
