Zusammenfassung

Albany Medical Center is seeking an entry-level Cardiovascular Technologist I to join the Adult Cardiac Cath Lab team at 43 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY. This developmental position provides structured orientation to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under supervision.

You will learn cardiovascular anatomy, coronary angiography, hemodynamics, and procedural workflow, with training on McKesson and Epic.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Technology program or qualifying post-secondary health science/allied health program.
• Prior Cath Lab experience not required.
• Experience in cardiovascular care preferred but not required.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• RCIS preferred but not required for CVT I.
• PALS required within six months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Complete a structured orientation and competency pathway in invasive cardiovascular technology.
• Develop proficiency in cardiovascular anatomy, coronary angiography, hemodynamics, and workflow.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation using McKesson and Epic.
• Prepare procedural rooms, equipment, supplies, and devices for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist the multidisciplinary team during routine, complex, and emergent cardiovascular care.
• Participate in the emergency on-call rotation after orientation and competency validation.
