Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a demanding clinical setting. You will follow provider orders, monitor patient conditions, and maintain precise documentation while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure and BLS. BSN is preferred; advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) are valued. This position may include PRN and float assignments across units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure.
• AHA BLS for the healthcare provider required or within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred with preferred certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with provider orders and approved standards.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions; document care accurately.
• Direct and supervise assigned nursing staff and maintain timely records.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, values, and patient service standards.
