Job summary
MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Catheterization/EP Lab. The role focuses on adult invasive cardiology, performing electrophysiology ablations, PCI, device implants, and advanced EKG interpretations in a high-volume lab.
The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS, with opportunities for BSN holders and Magnet-certified professionals. The labor environment includes rotating shifts and an on-call requirement, with robust benefits and OPERS retirement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or pursuing accreditation.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- May perform 6-15 cases daily in the Cardiac Catheterization/EP Lab.
- Collaborate with RNs, Cardiovascular Technicians, Radiology Technicians to ensure patient care.
- Provide advanced electrophysiology support and participate in device implant procedures.
