Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced cardiovascular invasive lab professional to join our team in a demanding clinical environment. You will plan, provide, and document patient care for invasive procedures and support physicians with informed clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient information accuracy, participating in professional development, and ensuring lab readiness and safety.

Qualifications

Must have documented competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics.
Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health science program is required.
RCIS/RCES/IBHRE certification within 24 months of hire and remains in active status; CPR/BLS is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

Plans, provides, and documents care for cardiovascular invasive labs patients per physician orders and policies.
Operates, monitors, records, evaluates, and maintains patient information.
Ensure quality and accuracy of reported lab data; report variances to physician and address them.
Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance for invasive lab equipment.
Conduct daily room QCs and prepare rooms/equipment for procedures; manage inventories and supplies.
