Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent seeks a Cath Lab Technician for the Cardiac Services: Interventional team at Navicent Health Medical Center. This full-time role (36 hours per week) involves diverse days depending on Cath Lab scheduling.

You will support invasive cardiovascular procedures and ensure accurate data collection. The position requires documented EKG and hemodynamics competency, with preferred Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab experience and allied cardiology background.

Qualifications

• Must have documented competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics.
• Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.
• Allied health professional experience in cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, and documents care of cardiovascular invasive labs patients per physician orders.
• Operates, monitors, records, evaluates, and maintains patient information.
• Ensures quality and accuracy of reported laboratory data and addresses variances.
• Operates and maintains invasive lab equipment and initiates maintenance as needed.
• Performs daily room QCs, preps procedure rooms, and manages supplies for daily cases.
• Mentors others and participates in professional development and quality committees.
