What You’ll Do

• Prepare and assist patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision and attention to radiation safety.
• Administer contrast and support physicians during procedures.
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and document all clinical data accurately.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure adherence to procedural time‑out standards.

Invasive Cardiac Tech Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT‑R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS).

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

• ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS as a Cardiovascular Specialist is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification is desired upon hire.
• Successful completion of ACLS certification required within orientation period.
• ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound.
• Act 34 compliance.
