Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization lab preferred.
• Completion of ECG interpretation course within three months of hire.
• Advanced technical skills in monitoring, scrubbing and panning with proficiency in Catheterization and Electrophysiology procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate monitoring, recording and related equipment during procedures.
• Support physician and staff during procedures.
• Monitor patient electrocardiogram for dysrhythmias.
• Operate defibrillator and provide CPR when required.
• Assist in pre- and post-procedure activities and position patients.
• Identify cardiovascular anatomy for documentation purposes.
