Indiana University Health System in Indianapolis is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to independently perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) in the OR and IR at Methodist Hospital, with occasional coverage at Riley Hospital for Children.
The role includes training junior staff, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring high-quality monitoring. A CNIM, Associate degree, 3–5 years of experience, and current BLS are required.

Independently performs simple and/or complex IONM cases in OR and IR with minimal technical supervision and providing accurate, high quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Trains and precepts junior team members. Meets patient needs, demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, providing accurate and high quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Communicates effectively with all physicians (oversight neurologist, surgeon, anesthesia, etc.) per communication guideline. Performs simple troubleshooting; Electrode problem, simple computer issues, able to identify common artifacts, modify monitoring programs to adjust to specific surgical needs from a case-to-case bases. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with each other, physicians, other disciplines, and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, displaying sensitivity to cultural differences, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner.
