Job summary

MPOWERHealth in the United States is seeking an experienced IOM Technologist to monitor brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves in real time during complex surgeries. You will be a critical part of the care circle, partnering with surgeons and OR staff to protect patients and support safe outcomes.

This role combines technical skill with teamwork and a commitment to quality care. CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible professionals with a Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of IONM experience are

Qualifications

CNIM certification or CNIM eligibility required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Minimum 1 year of IONM experience.
Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
AHA CPR certification and valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Meet with patients pre-op to review history and explain neuromonitoring.
Monitor nervous system in real time and alert the team to critical changes.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff during procedures.
Interpret waveforms, document findings, and ensure data integrity.
Contribute to continuous improvement and patient safety culture.
