Job summary

MPOWERHealth is seeking an experienced IOM Technologist to join the operating room team in the United States. You’ll protect patients by monitoring brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves in real time, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers to guide safe decisions during complex neuromonitoring cases.

Ideal candidates are CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible, with a bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 1 year of IONM experience.

Qualifications

• CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of IONM experience.
• Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• AHA CPR certified and valid driver's license.
• A communicator and a collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients pre-op to explain neuromonitoring and safety.
• Monitor electrophysiological data in real time.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff.
• Document findings and maintain data integrity.
