University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking an Intraoperative Neuro Tech Supervisor- Anesthesiology to oversee daily operations of neurodiagnostic staff, including EEG, EMG, EP and IONM services, ensuring adherence to department standards and patient safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, Neurodiagnostic credentials, at least 5 years' experience with supervisory duties, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Registered Neurodiagnostic credential with one of listed credentials (e.g., R EEG T., EP T., CLTM, R NCS T., CNIM).
• Minimum 5 years’ Neurodiagnostic experience with at least 1 year in supervision/leadership.
• CPR certification is required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of the Neurodiagnostic staff.
• Develops policies, procedures and training materials for staff development.
• Supervises and provides direct patient care in accordance with clinical standards.
• Makes frequent patient inquiries/rounds to ensure quality of care and identifies improvement areas.
• Prepares patient care assignments considering staff skill mix and patient needs.
• Ensures safe patient care environment and department safety checks.

Education

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred

Registered through the Neurodiagnostic credentialing board and holds one of the following credentials in the Neurodiagnostic services overseen

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing Neurodiagnostic procedures in a patient care environment with at least 1 year supervisory/leadership experience

CPR certification is required

ACLS certification is preferred
