Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an IOM Technologist to perform intraoperative monitoring during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedures. You must adapt protocols when needed and coordinate with the reading physician throughout cases, ensuring data collection and documentation are properly handled.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, an ABRET EEG registry, and at least one year of intraoperative neuro-monitoring experience, with emphasis on EEG and evoked potentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + current EEG registry; minimum 1 year in intraoperative neuro-monitoring.
• ABRET EEG registry required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up modality necessary to monitor at risk structures
• Communicate and coordinate with reading physician before and during all procedures
• Maintain supplies
• Navigate USMON- required to schedule data collection, physician chat, remote viewer for reading physician, and documentation
• Store all patient documents used for procedure in the Neuro share drive
• All other assigned duties related to Anesthesia Education and Experience
