Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-high school completion; 1–2 year accredited EEG Tech program preferred.
• Eligibility to sit for ABRET/board exam within three years of placement.
• Knowledge of EEG techniques, equipment, and brain disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG and EVP procedures in operating room, radiology, and lab settings.
• Monitor brain activity under anesthesia and communicate with surgeons.
• Prepare electrode placements, calibrate equipment, and record findings.
• Identify artifacts, adjust readings, and document clinical impressions.
• Conduct long‑term monitoring and WADA studies as needed.
• Maintain strict infection control and equipment sterilization.
