Job summary

The successful candidate will lead staff, develop inclusive intramural experiences, and collaborate across campus while ensuring safe, engaging activities for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Health and Physical Education, Higher Education Administration, or related field with at least two years of intramural program experience.
• Ability to work regular evening and weekend rotations.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience fostering respectful, professional environments with diverse populations.
• Experience in staff supervision and development.
• Knowledge of best practices in collegiate recreation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, supervision, and development of intramural staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate inclusive intramural programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate programs with academic learning and campus life.
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies for intramural activities.
• Manage program information, schedules, budgets, and risk management.
