Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in the Imaging department at All Saints Hospital, Racine, WI. The role requires precise imaging, interventional capabilities, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The position involves rotating shifts, on-call responsibilities, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. Licensure in Wisconsin with ARRT VI radiography credentials is required by hire date.

Qualifications

  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist with VI Radiography credential; general radiography required; WI state licensure required by hire date.
  • CCI credential preferred for CVIS (optional).

Responsibilities

  • Position patients and optimize technical parameters to capture high quality diagnostic images.
  • Execute complex imaging and interventional procedures in collaboration with physicians.
  • Administer contrast media and medications safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor patient well-being and procedural protocols in real time.
  • Uphold radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout procedures.

Location: Racine, WI

Facility: All Saints Hospital

Department: Imaging

Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating start times. 7:00-3:30, 7:30-4:00, or 8:00-4:30. On call responsibilities to include weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations. Call response time to hospital is 45 minutes.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Position patients and optimize technical parameters to capture the highest quality diagnostic images.

  • Execute complex, specialized imaging and interventional procedures, including vascular and non-vascular cases, in close partnership with the physician team.

  • Administer contrast media and essential medications safely and accurately, fully complying with all state and federal regulations.

  • Monitor the patient's well-being and procedural protocols in real-time, ensuring a secure and safe care environment.

  • Uphold a rigorous standard of radiation safety and regulatory compliance throughout all procedural activities.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Must hold ARRT registry and WI State License in Radiography. One year IR experience preferred. Advanced level credential in Vascular and Interventional (VI) through the ARRT required within 15 months of hire date.
