Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Durham, NC seeks a Surgical Technologist to support scrub and circulating duties during interventional procedures. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification as required by state regulation.
• All appropriate state licensure or certification education and training (if any) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of procedure room and stocking of supplies.
• Maintain and set up procedure room in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stock procedure room and trays with needed supplies and interventional equipment.
• Clean procedure room and equipment post-procedure.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning for procedures.
• Perform circulating duties in the procedure room.
• Assist with medication preparation and administration within scope of practice.
• Transfer and transport patients to and from the procedure room.
• Support physicians during interventional procedures under sterile conditions.
