Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Durham, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support interventional procedures in the radiology suite. You will scrub and circulate, assist with patient preparation, and help maintain the sterile field and room equipment throughout procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, sterile technique knowledge, and BLS certification. You will work under supervision of the Facility Manager or Chief Radiology Technologist in a health care setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Experience with interventional equipment (C-Arm, Ultrasound) and supplies.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques.
• BLS certification required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and maintenance of the procedure room in compliance with policies.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Clean the procedure room and equipment after procedures.
• Prepare the patient for procedures and assist with positioning.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy.
• Maintain sterile technique and document issues as needed.
• Handle patient transfers and safe transport to/from the room.
