Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an Interventional Rad Technologist for MedStar Washington Hospital Center. You will perform vascular, non-vascular, and neuro interventional procedures under supervision, with duties including patient monitoring, contrast administration, and sterile technique.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT license (MD state within 90 days), MD/VA license if applicable, BLS/CPR, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant interventional radiology exposure is preferred.
• Licensure in radiologic technology is required (see licenses below).
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular, non-vascular, and/or neuro interventional procedures under supervision.
• Monitor patients, administer contrast, maintain sterile technique, and function as scrub or circulating technologist as needed.
• Ensure safe procedural environment, manage supplies, equipment, and quality control.
