Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate angiographic and interventional imaging equipment in the neuro/vascular suites. You will work under radiologists to perform complex procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Graduate or completion of a program meeting registry eligibility.
Level I must obtain ARRT certification.
ARRT radiography certification required; vascular interventional tech certification within 18 months of hire.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Operate radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic procedures.
Position patients and immobilize as necessary.
Assist radiologist during angiographic and interventional procedures.
Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist with contrast media injections.
Load sterile trays, maintain sterile technique, and monitor equipment readings.
Maintain patient records, schedule procedures, and coordinate workflow in neuro/vascular suites.
Assist in training new technologists and participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
