Job summary

Kansas Health System in Olathe seeks an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic, interventional and ultrasound-guided procedures in a sterile environment. The role requires licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification, BLS Heartsaver, and state license within 90 days. Part-time, on-site at Olathe Hospital with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Licensure and certifications required: ARRT Radiography, BLS Heartsaver, LRT license.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during physician-supervised procedures with sterile prep of patient access areas and supplies.
• Document use of contrast material and related patient charges.
• Perform radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, neurological, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremity locations.
• Maintain infection control and adhere to safety policies; participate in culture of safety.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and stay current with required educational assignments.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and potential overtime as needed.
