Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with sterile technique and angiographic equipment. The technologist will scrub and circulate during procedures and respond to emergent cases with independent judgment under on-call guidance.

Requirements include ARRT registration in Radiography or Interventional Radiology, BLS, and graduation from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program; ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
• ARRT registered in Radiography or Interventional Radiology; BLS certified.
• ACLS certified preferred; ARRT registered in Interventional Radiology.
• One year experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.
• Two years experience preferred; focus in Specials.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and operate angiographic equipment.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures as needed.
• Respond to emergent cases with independent judgment.

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
