Job summary

Baptist Health in Fleming Island, FL, is seeking an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist for the Special Procedures Department. This full-time role requires performing high quality radiographic images, working in sterile conditions, and participating in on-call coverage to support interventional procedures.

Qualifications include BLS, CPR, CV-ARRT, ARRT, and CRT certifications. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient comfort, and adherence to mandatory education and health requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• CV-ARRT certification required (or ARRT CV).
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• CRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality radiographic images.
• Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
• Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Must participate in on-call coverage.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
