Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians with image-guided procedures, maintain sterile technique, and operate imaging equipment. You will ensure patient safety, document contrast administration, and support post-processing of images for clinical use.

The role requires ARRT registration, SC radiology licensure, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA or ARC provider).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and operate radiology equipment.
• Prepare and document contrast administration and ensure proper patient data for clinicians.
• Post-process imaging data for display and records; ensure image quality and safety standards.
