Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive procedures and support imaging staff. The role includes arteriography, venography, transluminal angioplasty, stents, venous access and biopsies, with on-site duties during the AM shift.

Applicants must be ARRT certified (R) with Vascular-Interventional Radiology registration or registration within two years, and hold a SCRQSA license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2 Year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (VI) in Vascular-Interventional Radiology or registration obtained within two years of transition into position.
• Current South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) license.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient transport and ensure timely clock-in/out per hospital policy.
• Demonstrate competency in providing developmentally appropriate care for adults, geriatrics, and bariatric patients.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and wear dosimeters and protective lead as assigned.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures including arteriography, venography, transluminal angioplasty, stents, venous access, drainages and biopsies.
• Support equipment operation and sterile technique during procedures.
• Participate in on-call assignments as required.
