Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. You will perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures, scrub and circulate cases, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate patient care.

The ideal candidate has IR/interventional experience, ARRT certification, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and a commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
• ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire Required
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS - within 120 Days Required for non-pediatric hospitals
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days Required for only pediatric hospitals

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, atherectomy, and ablation procedures.
• Independently scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality images and support successful procedural outcomes.
• Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and procedural techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new caregivers as needed and participate in the department's call rotation to support emergent patient care needs.
