Job summary

Intermountain Health's Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with physicians and caregivers on a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will independently scrub and circulate, operate imaging equipment, and contribute to patient care before, during, and after procedures while mentoring new staff and supporting a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification.
• ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire Required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• ACLS - within 120 Days Required for non-pediatric hospitals.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days Required for only pediatric hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, atherectomy, and ablation procedures.
• Independently scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality images and support successful procedural outcomes.
• Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and procedural techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new caregivers as needed and participate in the department's call rotation to support emergent patient care needs.
